G--Retreat Facilitator for Naval District Washington (NDW)

That level of expertise is critical to creating safe emotional space for CREDO participants (many suffer from varying degrees of operational stress, post-traumatic stress, battle fatigue, and other forms of visible and invisible wounds) in varied CREDO program formats: a retreat in a weekend setting away from base in civilian clothes, or a workshop on base. This position requires extensive familiarity with CREDO, its programs and mission. The contractor shall assist Commander Naval District Washington (CNDW) Religious Programs Office as a professional facilitator and provide support services to the CREDO staff for command administrative consulting support to meet its mission of strengthening Fleet, Fighter, and Family. The position is located at Naval District Washington and job duties can be around a 60 mile radius. Sensitivity and respect for other faith groups shall be maintained. The period of performance consists of a base year starting around 15 September 2017 and two (2) option years, plus the option to extend services up to an additional six months pursuant to FAR clause 52.217-8.
