To be paid through E-Rate, a provider needs a SPIN (FCC Form 498).

The project includes UPS units, batteries, network management, necessary software/licenses, mounting accessories, installation, configuration, and testing. Most district buildings have backup generators. Vendors must verify generator-supported circuits and size UPS systems to maintain network operation during generator startup and transfer. Westgate Middle School has no generator and may require extended battery runtime.
