MDC GUA - Liquid Propane Gas - FY-2027

October 23, 2026 Post Award Synopsis The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, announces the award of Purchase Order 15B30627P00000035 under Solicitation 15B30626Q0000022 for Liquid Propane Gas Services. The contract has been awarded to Liquilux Gas Corporation for a total amount of $107,730.00. The procurement was conducted utilizing a Firm?Fixed Price contract structure. This acquisition was solicited on a 100% small?business set?aside basis, and all responsible sources were permitted to submit a quote. In accordance with FAR 4.1102, all offerors were required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award. Award was made to the offeror whose quote represented the best value to the Government, considering price and past performance. The Government reserved the right to award by item, group, or in aggregate, and exercised this authority in determining the final awardee. Performance under this contract is scheduled to begin on October 21, 2026, at MDC Guaynabo, Highway 28, Intersection of Road 165, Guaynabo, PR 00965?5700.
